Here is a quick glimpse into how I reverse engineered what was going on with the Blue Child, the less known second moon of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.
This is only a reenactment of the thought process, but you still might find it interesting... and maybe even helpful to get into such shenanigans yourself.

The fix will be available on my Git repository sometime tomorrow (heading out now)... meanwhile you can use these instructions to play around with this yourself:
