With Father's Day being here, it's on many of our minds (who are Fathers obviously) of just what it means to leave a legacy and set an example for our children. For those of us who are Christians, perhaps one of the biggest things we worry about (or should) is whether we are properly modeling Christ's life for our children. Though we obviously want our children (and others) to be able to come to us and say that we were the reason they eventually came to Christ because they saw His life evident in us. Even moreso, how much more should we strive to live in such a way that when we stand before God, He says that He too saw His Son's life mirrored in us?

I also want to dedicate this to my own father, knowing that as imperfect as he was (and as I am), he always wanted to make sure we could see Jesus in his life, just as his father did before him. Thank you for the legacy you have passed on, and I hope to be able to carry on that legacy with my family as well.
