The most rage-inducing modpack I’ve personally ever played—welcome to BEYOND DEPTH. A modpack that inspires exploration and challenges with many new bosses and enemies to face, introducing a whole new level of difficulty to Minecraft.

This is a new 100 Days Minecraft video featuring this brand-new modpack, which came out recently and is gaining traction like crazy. Feel free to check out Beyond Depth using this link:

So, what is the Beyond Depth Minecraft modpack?
"Beyond Depth is an adventure and exploration modpack fully optimized with 400+ mods designed for players seeking new challenges. It features unique progression, expanded biomes, tougher bosses, and new mechanics, focusing on survival and discovery without relying too much on quests. With unique structures, enhanced combat, pet systems, and building contraptions, the pack caters to various playstyles." – CurseForge page by Blueversal

From my personal 100 Days, I can tell you the pros and cons of this modpack—what I personally enjoyed and what desperately needs fixing or tweaking.

What I Found Enjoyable:
Beyond Depth is a new challenge. It isn’t quite as daunting as something like RLCraft, but it will still give you that same feeling of being hard-stuck in a progression tier if you’re not careful. Personally, I loved this feeling—it encourages exploration since crafting armor is a literal nightmare.

The biomes feel quite vanilla-ish, but with some insane new structures. (There are many new structures—you’ll never get bored of exploring!) The fighting mechanics are decent, and the relic system adds variety. If you maintain a good diet in this modpack, you also gain additional benefits, which is a nice touch.

What Made Me Want to Cry Several, Several Times:
The Dragon Fight:
This is something else. It’s not too bad if you’re not limited to 100 days, but it seriously needs tweaking, even for casual players. I believe two end-game mods are combined to create a dragon fight that’s borderline not fun, just tedious. It’s also hard to figure out how to actually take the dragon down since it’s a completely new fight, and I couldn’t find much about it on YouTube.

Spawn Rates (Especially Creepers):
The spawn rates are way too high on any difficulty except Easy—and even on Easy, it feels rough. Then again, in my opinion, this is part of what makes the modpack fun. Still, creepers being a constant evasion threat everywhere could do with some tweaking.

Performance:
Beyond Depth is very well-optimized. I never experienced framerate issues, except for the initial few minutes after loading into the world.

Final Thoughts:
Honestly, a solid 8.5/10. I loved playing it, even if you look past the rage moments. This was my 100 Days in Beyond Depth—a true challenge that redefines Minecraft.
