I haven't uploaded anything here in a while but rest assured I'm still kicking. The reason I've been so quiet is that I've been waiting for Game Maker Studio 2 to update. It is a massive update introducing features that every other IDE has, like functions and structs, so coding all of this stuff won't be so miserable. Naturally it's a big update so it's been delayed a lot (it's apparently finally coming Q1, so this month). In the meantime I've been prototyping some things I'd like to include in the future, and sharpening my art skills. Looks pretty good doesn't it?

I'd like to also kinda redo my YouTube presence; I already have a second channel for this purpose. I'd ideally like to post demos and stuff there, and extended looks at my old and canceled games and point out their features and why they failed. Though, some of them might be coming back from the dead. Which ones? We'll see soon enough...whenever that GMS2 update drops. I would also like to post design tutorials, because the biggest obstacle to designing a good game arguably isn't coding it, but rather not knowing good design principles, what makes a good game, genre-specific tips (ex. what makes a good platformer and how to better code one), etc.
