Star Citizen recently announced it was making progress with server meshing meaning different areas of the verse can have their own server but all players remain together. But not one was expecting to be testing it so soon and for it to work flawlessly. For this to work at all is going to mean massive improvements to server performance and more players playing together in the same shard. It's incredible tech and I'm so pleased to get to test the first version of it.
