Today, I took a shot at speedrunning Choppy Orc! It is undeniably a solid little browser-based platform game, but how is the speedrun?

Links:
The game is free and available here - https://www.eddynardo.com/games/choppy-orc/
And there's a community version that includes the timer here - https://or321.github.io/choppy-orc-autosplitter/
Also you can check out the leaderboards! - https://www.speedrun.com/choppy_orc

ABOUT THE GAME:
Choppy Orc is a simple platformer that runs right in your browser. It was made by Eddynardo, a game developer with a fair bit of experience and many free games on their website.

We play the choppy orc and our only goal is to rescue people from chests spread throughout the level. The platforming consists mostly of throwing our axe and using it to bounce from place to place.

It really is a fantastic game, even if it is mechanically simple.

Although my channel has never really focused on speedrun content, I do enjoy speedrunning a lot of games. I thought it was about time to try something new and put some of this type of content out there. I don't know if Choppy Orc was a great choice for my first speedrun video but I had to start somewhere. Hopefully, you will enjoy the video, there will probably be more content in the future.
