I try VR again after 3 years of VR Sickness
7After suffering from VR sickness for 3 years, feeling Dizzy, getting bursts of anxiety locking up my muscles and vertigo randomly, and being unable to stand without generally feeling a little uneasy, I try VR again.
This is NOT something I recommend to people as a way of getting over VR sickness, this is something I am trying knowing full well it might mess me up more, BUT the important take away is, the first time I tried was for a heavily extended period of time (8 hours with 2, 30 min breaks), this was out of my control and I CANNOT elaborate further, BUT I felt like because it was out of my hands, and I wasn't in control fully, I most likely got messed up as a result, and then my concerns and health got dismissed at the time, and then laughed at.
NOW 3 years later I come back to VR to see if I can handle it, and see if I can finally get over my problems with it, and reclaim the half of me that felt like it got left in VR the first time I used it all those years ago...
