Two budget CPUs with integrated GPU head to head. I've tested them in various games to see how they perform overall. Games vary from CPU intensive to GPU intensive and some that uses both CPU and GPU at roughly same level.

How they can handle modern games?
Is it actually possible to use them for something more than office and email?
Which one is better?

i3 7100U is Intel entry level laptop CPU.
It is 2.4 GHz dual-core (2 cores and 2 threads) CPU with no turbo mode.
It is 15W CPU with integrated GPU (Intel HD 620).

Ryzen 3 3250U is AMD entry level laptop CPU.
It is 2.6 GHz dual-core (2 cores and 2 threads) CPU with turbo up to 3.5 GHz.
It is also 15W CPU (but some manufacturers allow it to reach 25W) with integrated GPU (Radeon Vega 3).

Tested games:

- LEGO City Undercover
- The Sims 4
- Civilization 6
- Generation Zero
- XCOM Enemy Unknown
- Diablo 2 Resurrected
