A highly detailed scenery add-on covering the airport of Ibiza (LEIB) on the Spanish Balearic Islands with additional coverage of a vast area surrounding the airport itself for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) 2020 release and available from SimShack.
Developed by sim-wings, published by Aerosoft, and available for sale from SimShack, this stunning scenery pack for MSFS brings the entire airport area (and surrounding regions) of Ibiza Airport (LEIB) to life. Custom buildings, animations, ground traffic, terminal buildings, and many more custom 3D objects overhaul the default Microsoft offerings of this airport.
The scenery is highly accurate and based on real-world data, charts, photographs, and information about the airport from passengers and staff. The terminal buildings have been hand-crafted in exceptional detail and true-to-life accuracy (even the internal structures).
Included are working and functional VDGS safe gates which is an Aerosoft module for better arrivals and departures when performing accurate flight scenarios.
The taxiways, aprons, and stands are all accurate and true-to-life based on real-world data. They are based on the latest data provided for the airport. The taxiway signage and line drawings are also completely custom and as you would find them at the real airport.
Ground imagery has been included for areas in and around the airport based on high-quality satellite data (recent) - we call this "photoreal" or orthophoto imagery (if you are familiar with X-Plane). The developer has ensured that this replacement imagery has a smooth transition into the default Microsoft scenery at the edges of the area covered.
A replacement mesh (DEM) pack has been included to ensure that the terrain below you is as accurate as possible (again based on real-world data). DEM essentially provides the ups/downs, and hills/valleys of the terrain below you. It's what makes the world natural and not "flat".
The runway has been accurately designed based on the latest Spanish airport charts and data. The jetway models are fully animated, hand-crafted, and completely custom.
Full advantage of the latest graphical technology has been employed in creating this add-on. PBR ([hysically based rendering) and dynamic lighting have been included to make the airport look as lifelike as possible.
There are many custom static 3D objects such as apron vehicles and utilities.
All in all, this is one of the most detailed Ibiza Airport scenery packs available for the Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) 2020 release.
The add-on is released as payware which means you need to purchase it in order to use it.
