I could imagine some 90's players hating this level. Especially due to the boobytrap at the start. But you just have to know when to move and you wont take much damage. Knowing what to do makes this map a lot of fun honestly. I really like it compared to most of what we've had so far. That midi helps a lot, makes me feel like a sci fi action hero. There's a lot of other neat things about this map that I think would've been really impressive and fun to see in the 90's. I like how the plants light up after a certain point. I like that it forces you to get up close and personal to some monsters that most 90's players would not be used to, but its not unfair with it at any point. I like that the plasma gun gets to shine here. I like the room where you're being fired at by an enemy ship outside (arachnotron), although I think its kinda dumb that you get locked in that room for 30 seconds when you pick up the key. You have to do quite a lot of backtracking and running around though and that can get annoying. I noticed rockets were used to gain momentum in the final stretch in the world record so I tried to do that too. Not something I'm used to doing, I don't think I did it right lol.
