Identifying Depth of the Experience: Age of Gladiators
7A one hour dive into the systems that create the depth of Age of Gladiators. It covers advancement, nuances of the core loop, and the prevalence of RNG in the systems. This is important for what comes later this month.
They're doing it. Creative Storm Entertainment is releasing a remake of Age of Gladiators, a second monitor/I'm a few beers in game I've greatly enjoyed over the years. Are they going to make it a deeper, richer experience worthy of main monitor presence or will it be a cheap cash grab with minimal improvements? To truly dive into the release of the remake we need to establish what the original was and how it played. Tomorrow I'll drop a video going over some of the strengths and weaknesses of the original.
Once the remake hits steam I'll be releasing a first impressions video with either extreme excitement or bitter irritation. Time will tell. Either way, I will certainly be creating an "A Modest Analysis" of Age of Gladiators: Past and Present not long after.
