Doom Eternal News idSoftware is rumored to be getting started on next doom game. This comes from hiring posts by idSoftware with the post claiming the 2 main positions to be working on next generation games for next generation of consoles. PS5 and Xbox X Series are supposed to be backwards compatible from launch whether that includes Doom Eternal or not is yet to be seen.

But GTAV already coming out with a PS5 version with enhanced graphics and frame rate it wouldn't be a stretch to image doom eternal doing the exact same. Question is how does this affect doom eternals DLC? Will Doom Eternal's DLC set the stage for the next doom game? I also wanted to briefly touch on Doom Eternal's nintendo switch port as another "release date soon" teaser was given by the devs.
