Doom eternal battlemode a very unique experience thats definitely fun in its own right. Unfortunately Idsoftware is leaving the game mode to die. With large spans of time in between updates for Doom Eternal, battlemode hasnt even gotten a hot fix in at least 2 weeks (sounds trivial but before the latest battlemode issues it was gettin hotfixes at least every week). Idsoftware needs to address hit registration, lag, and almost as importantly the silence. I believe theyre hard at work with some kind of fix for battlemode and some new doom eternal content but the silence can easily be translated into feeling like criticism and complaints are just falling on deaf ears.
