If Chess Was A Turn-based Roguelike Made By Silly Wizards | WizardChess - Part 1
Hello everyone! Here we are with a game that was recently released from early access. This is WizardChess, a turn-based roguelike that has some similarities to chess but with a lot of differences. You and your opponent start with with their units randomly located in the board, each unit has different movement capabilities, passive or active skills, attack, defense and skill points. The objective is mostly to survive long enough or to kill all of the enemies.
The game counts with a loooooong tutorial, an Arcade Mode (that I didn't enjoy) and a tournament mode that would be the normal roguelike run... Because of all this, my first video ended up being too long (just so you know, this session was over 2 hours, but I removed some of the tutorial, some of the arcade and mostly the stuff that was too repetitive). And it took me a while to like it, but I ended up having a lot of fun during the tournament run.
There are different stages, difficulties and different units to unlock, to add some replayability, and even the arcade mode changes... So I might give it another try in the future.
