Arnie finally confronts the Predator mano a mano. Well, you know what I mean. Realising that Dutch is a worthy combatant, the Predator dispenses with his plasma cannon/head shield and prepares for an unarmed rumble in the jungle. Now that's the mark of true sportsmanship.

Activision's Amiga game doesn't quite sync up with the chain of events seen in the movie, despite giving it a shot. It notes that the way to defeat him doesn't involve any weapons more potent than flailing fists and feet, so it makes sense to ditch those. Vanquishing the alien pest demands that we stay alive, keeping him at bay until reaching the tree counterweight, then rigging that to drop on his bonce, crushing him to death. This works fine in the Atari ST and other versions of the game, though on the Amiga, the developers appear to have forgotten to insert any tuggable vines used to trigger the log's deadly descent. Instead, we win simply by reaching the end of level four without perishing. The Predator wanders off into yonder distance and we perform the exasperated face-palm manoeuvre.

Galahad (of Fairlight and EAB fame) informs us that collecting the radio in level 3 and then not engaging with any weapons beyond this point allows us to unlock the barely animated mission success image. I didn't follow this procedure in the video so just mocked it up at the end to look vaguely similar. I may have another go and upload a video showing just the conclusion if I can get it to play ball.
