15Alien Incident is described as the first Finnish point and click adventure game, and the first title by Housemarque Limited, who were initially known for working in the demoscene, and have recently made the game Returnal. As per the company, they described it as a game heavily inspired by LucasArts titles such as Maniac Mansion, Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, & Loom. It is also full of references from films such as Star Wars and Back to the Future.
