Ignite is a game I'm currently developing - for my sins - in Game Guru, an 'easy' game creation software. Getting it to do what I want has been anything but easy but Game Guru does allow me to rapidly prototype different level designs and relies on LUA scripting language, a language so versatile and accessible that even Luddites like me with almost zero knowledge can pick up the basics. Sadly though, Ignite requires far more complicated scripts than I can write, but it has a fantastic and supportive community of users who help out fellow developers all the time. I would not have made it this far without hours and hours of their help.
