Following documented procedure as closely as possible we start-up a BF109F4 at Stepnoy airfield, warm the engine, and then complete a run-up procedure before taxiing to the runway and taking off.

Note that warming the engine is not required by default. The options to do so must be selected on the realism options page. Also the run-up procedure is performed with wheel brakes rather than wheel chocks, which are not available. The run-up procedure is not required but is included to illustrate a more detailed and realistic preparation routine.
