I'll take Sovereign down, Somehow! (Talking to Vigil) - Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition Playthrough
4On todays episode of Mass Effect 1 the Legendary Edition, Shepard starts the Hunt for Saren on Ilos! We learn a lot of information from some Prothean VIs that tell us all about the Reapers, the Conduit and what Saren's true Purpose is! The question is, have we gotten there in time? Or was Shepard too late to Stop Saren from doing his job and bringing the Reapers back? I guess we'll have to keep going to find out troops!
To start the episode off, we begin where we left it last week just after landing on Ilos and seeing Saren lock the Door behind him! So our goal is to find a way to open that giant door, and hopefully stop Saren from finding the Conduit which includes fighting our way through Lots of Geth, and some Big ones at that too! That's no big deal for Shepard though, she won't let anything or anyone get in her way from letting her Stop Saren! Whilst we're on Ilos, we see all these really Strange statues everywhere, and I'd love to know what your Theories are (or were, if you Know by now what they are), on what or who they were! I tell you what my original thoughts on them were, but I think it's a bit Farfetched really, but I'd love to know what you all thought about them!
When we get to the console that unlocks the Door to Saren, Shepard hears a Distress call, a Warning about the Reapers! It is extremely Daunting, but is it foreshadowing for the Rest of the Series? You'll have to keep watching to find out of course, but coming to hear this VI is important to help build the Suspense on how Powerful the Reapers truly are! But now that the doors are finally Unlocked, Shepard and the crew can get back to the Mako and continue the Hunt for Saren and hopefully the Conduit if we're not already too Late! And of course Saren has left us a trail of Geth to fight on the way, so it's not a Boring journey to Saren, and we have little snippets of Conversation from Tali and Liara about Liara's Love for the Protheans!
We get to a certain point with the Mako, and all of a sudden, we're Trapped inside two Force Fields! Could it be Saren trying to stop us? Or something else? Well without giving too much away of course, I'll just say we end up running into another Virtual Intelligence, that tells us a Lot more this time! His name is Vigil, and he tells us about things such as, The Prothean's Demise, The Reapers and Indoctrination, What Saren's true plans are and Lots Lots more! The information we get from Vigil, again is very Crucial to the story of Mass Effect! He comes with a Warning in that the Citadel is Not what we think it is, and the little Keepers that crawl around the Citadel? Well they play a much Bigger part in this game than we could ever have thought! So I highly recommend coming join Shepard, Tali and Liara in their conversation with Vigil!
I will Warn you all though, that we're actually talking to Vigil for quite a while in this Episode, but I wouldn't have kept it all in, if I didn't think it was Important to the Story of course! And I have a lot of Opinions to share on the Subjects, so I'd also love it if you let me know what you think about what Vigil has to say as well! But after we're finished talking to him for a Million years, we continue on after Saren, but this time? We're on the Clock! There's a Timer for us to get to a Relay that'll take us straight to the Citadel! But we also see a Cut Scene of Sovereign, along with all of his Geth Ships, Charging the Citadel! So things are getting very Serious!
Next week, Shepard will be Saving the Citadel (hopefully), and the Council (Maybe)! The clock is ticking and Saren is close to reaching his Goal in signalling the Reapers to return! Will we get there in time? Or will Sovereign get the better of Shepard? You'll have to come and find out Next Week troops, but until then, I just hope you enjoy this episode, and please feel free to let me know what you think of it, and what you think of all the Information we received in this episode!
