⛏️【Illegal Snow Layers】〖Obtaining the Unobtainable in Minecraft Bedrock Edition〗(Glitched Items)
Hey friends, welcome to the first episode of Obtaining the Unobtainable in Minecraft Bedrock. Today we'll be talking about seven illegal snow layers! (Or Top Snow, if you're a Bedrock purist :P)
Normal single-layer snow layers are something you can obtain in Bedrock edition by crafting a line of snow blocks in a crafting table, but there are seven other types of snow layers that exist in item for but are not supposed to drop as items. However, we're playing the glitchiest version of Minecraft, so we can get them! And it's not even that hard!
The trick has two major parts. First, you must snow-log (as in water-log with snow) a flower that's sitting on a dirt block. Then you must break that dirt block and let the snow layers land in a water source block. That's it! If done correctly, your falling snow should break off into item form when hitting the water, and you should now have an illegal snow layer! Congrats on your Top Snow!
As of the last update, they changed the way these snow layers work, and removing the dirt block with a piston no longer drops the snow layer for some reason. It does instead create a floating flower though, so there's a bonus glitch for you all! However, if you want these in your world, I would recommend you store some away fast... you never know when the next mandatory update is going to remove them forever!
---[ Series Information ]---------------
"Obtaining The Unobtainable In Minecraft Bedrock Edition" is a series with a stupidly long but accurate name -- it's a series where we try and find all the weird illegal items in Minecraft Bedrock edition and find different ways to obtain them. So, it's long and clunky, but at least it knows what it's talking about!
One of the cool things about having a long-lasting Minecraft server is gathering things that can no longer be obtained in later versions. Ever since I was a kid and got myself some alpha slabs that were fireproof and wouldn't stack with normal slabs, I was interested in this kind of stuff, and by looking at all the weird glitchy stuff on my YouTube channel you can probably tell that hasn't changed much, haha.
This series aims to explain all the ways you can do something you shouldn't, specifically in the Bedrock edition of Minecraft, as there aren't nearly as many people covering Bedrock as there are Java. If you know any illegal items or weird glitches we can do, be sure to let me know down in the comments! Thanks for stopping by friends!
