1This time for real! I'm back! After a hard year of accomplishing little, I'm planning on turning 2019 into one of my most productive years so far! More tutorials and videos relating to music production, art and design, animation and 2d game development are on the way. You decide the priorities! Hey everyone, Fatal Exit here, properly back for the first time in like a year. Well technically not, this is not Fatal Exit speaking. I have decided for a multitude of reasons that this is how I am going to voice my videos in the future, using the Amazon Polly TTS Service. For one it allows me to record voiced videos from my home’s shared bedroom, something I’m unable to do with my regular voice, as it annoys other people to be recording in the same room as them. I’m also much more confident in using a voice that is not my own. I truly hate my voice. It also means I can do all of my work on my gaming desktop PC which is way more powerful than my current working laptop.
2018 was a bad year for me, I was in and out of hospital all year and whenever it seemed like something was getting better something else bad came up, I was unable to find the time and facilities to record voice for the videos I wanted to and my general health state also worked against me. 2018 was not a fun section of my life. I’m glad to see the end of it and I have started getting my life back on track already, I am able to walk around outside comfortably for the first time in a year. Getting better slowly but surely.
I’m planning on rebooting this channel completely this year in a multitude of ways. I’m going to continue producing music related tutorials, now with the new Amazon TTS voices, covering a variety of software. FL mobile, my new DAW Reason 10, Vocaloid 5 and a whole bunch of software. Also I’m looking to put a lot more of a focus onto animation, Art, design and game development related tutorials and videos (using software such as Affinity Designer, Construct 3, Aseprite, Crazy Talk Animator and a whole bunch of other tools). I look forward to producing many tutorials using the new system, and sharing many videos with the community.
That is going to be it for this very short video, hope any of my newer subscribers from the last 12 months or so, who had to sit through a whole drought of content last year know now that I am on the way back to making this channel a bigger and better place. As well as generally improving my quality of life.
Please share any suggestions on what you’d like me to cover next, either relating to music production, art and design or 2d game-development using Construct. Or basically whatever you want, I’d be willing to give it a shot if it’s a doable idea!
