Hey everyone, thanks for dropping by the latest IM Gaming podcast episode! For episode 17 I’m talking about the concept of feeding the beast! This a bit pompous term is actually a smart marketing principle where anyone with a product needs to provide the beast - which can be a search algorithm, audience, followers or anything else - with content and effort. The same then allows for a range of benefits to appear. The first time I heard about the idea of feeding the beast was in terms of promoting books on Amazon Kindle, but here I expand upon it further to many different domains of the creative industries.
