I do silly things and start a regular, open ended run with my personal apocalypse mode settings in Project Zomboid build 42 for approximately 25 minutes with low editing.

Settings:
Random Speed with 1% chance for sprinters (no multi-hit)
Random cognition (this means door AND window opening zombies)
Random Hearing (poor to pin drop)
Random Sight (poor to eagle eyed)
Random Strength
Random Memory
Rally Groups: 1 (never set this to zero, ever)
Follow distance: 750 (up from the default of 100) this means zombies will follow the last sound they heard for 750 tiles - yay fun
