I'm Looking Forward to Resisting Arrest | Ultimate Mortal Kombat Deception - Darrius Arcade Gameplay
0Sweep fatalities are the worst to pull off. This is no different because seriously, fuck doing Darrius' iconic fatality sometimes.
After a small dry spell, we are back with Ultimate Mortal Kombat Deception.
This time, I decided to play as the, ironically, first Deception character that came back as a Kameo in MK1: Darrius, the Resistance Leader.
About Darrius in this game: To say that he's by far a safe option is an understatement. Darrius is, bar none, one of the safest characters to try out in the entire game, but just because he's safe doesn't mean he's entirely good. If I were to be honest with you, his gauntlets are the only damaging thing he has because while the Shinto Ryu and Leopard are not bad, he doesn't really make those styles feel impactful. To demonstrate and prove how underwhelming he is, the only branch combos he has in this game are the STR + Leopard Knockdown, and the Leopard + Gauntlet uppercut branch so yeah, aside from being safe and being damaging with his gauntlets, he doesn't really have that much options to make him a valuable asset to the roster. His special moves are really good, however. All in all, Darrius is decent, but not impactful enough to be completely overpowered.
Yet again, Onaga ended up kicking my ass, but that's on me. I got too carried away with defense since no matter what, he will fucking grab you if you're not careful. the Kabal loss was likely because I choked once again. I curse my own attention span.
Note: This was the second time I've recorded this video after the previous one made me give up entirely due to getting upset at Noob-Smoke for beating me again.
