The diamonds in the windows too opulent to gift
I hear someone shouting and I run away from that
Cuz I can’t deal right now, i’m all smushed flat
I wish i had a bed to sleep in a blanket overhead
Hiding underneath just like when i was a kid
I wish i had room service or a tv or a phone
I wish i had someone to make me feel less alone
Followed down the path I took anyone could be
Someone like jesus was someone just like me
You don’t need a certain way you look or feel
No lies that you tell and no truths that you conceal
Colored by the stained glass window in the church
I scan my body to see which parts hurt the worst
I have a little dollar bill crunched up in my fist
And still with all of it i’m not sure i exist
