Facepunch makes it super difficult to keep our maps, without wiping them every month.
As we well know, the first Thursday of each month Facepunch pushes out their update for the month. That process normally triggers a full map wipe, where our players lose all the progress they've made throughout the month. Bases gone. Inventory gone. Everything gone. Back to starting on the beach with a rock and a torch.
Today I'm going to show you a method in which you can keep your map and players progress they've made throughout the month.

With the addition of the new workcarts, if you use this process, you may not end up with workcarts on your map. However, if the workcarts are forced onto the map, you may end up with the situation that I talk about in the video. It could trigger a procedural map generation, despite your best efforts. So be aware, that the March 4th update COULD be the worst case scenario that I talk about in the video.
