It seems that filenames for Impact Time sounds were changed from "CRASH" to "Abstract" while working on the Xbox 360 version. Not only that, but the sounds aren't stored exactly as you'd hear them in-game; rather, each sample was given its own file, which loops a few times before fading out.

My theory is that, the first sample, being by far the longest, serves as the foundation for the rest of the sounds to play on top of.
But I'm not entirely sure if all 35 samples are in fact directly associated with Impact Time. I recognize a few based on clips I've watched.

Nonetheless, it's awesome to finally be able to listen to these clearly. It feels as if the final piece for the Impact Time collection across the entire series has at long last been found. I knew HD Revenge had to have this creepiness, too.
And of course, I had to take the opportunity to bless you with a semi-realistic Macaboureur.
