Ok so welcome to the first of many parts of what I like to call Implement Hell. I've actually long since completed them, but I recorded myself either showing what I did to complete an implement or just dicking around. You know. What my channel's usually about.

Now about implements. SPOILERS.

The Hollow Area is a testing area of SAO, where new weapons, gear, and items are tested for balance before being implemented into the game. Kirito is able to travel to the Hollow Area because the game needed a high-level player who wasn't an AI recreation of real players, like all the other residents of the Hollow Area are, because he would be unpredictable.

This is where the implements come in. You have to go to the console and pick an implement to "test", which basically means you have to fulfill a certain condition, sometimes under certain restrictions, during Hollow missions, which may be rank-specific.

This one happens to be an implement where I had to take a certain amount of damage during a Hollow mission. I think it was 250,000. You think that's bad? At least I got to go "AFK" for this one. Try having to do 1,000 Exact Backsteps.
