Import Tariff to Affect Hardware Prices | Intel Plans Server Upgrades in Bid Against AMD
According to a report, the US-China trade war will affect PC hardware prices, as the import tariff will increase the cost of gaming and other electronic hardware imported from China. It's hard to nail down exactly the cost the average gamer, but it's not looking good.
In other news, Intel is planning on upgrading it's server CPUs and tweaking it's current lineup to battle against AMD as analysts predict a loss of market share for Intel.
We also see ASUS joining the AIBs supporting the i9 Whiskey Lake series with their current flagship and lower end motherboards.
At camp AMD, we see an insane discount for the Threadripper 1920X as we move towards the launch of Threadripper 2, while Lenovo have accidentally confirmed the specs of the Ryzen 3 2300X and the Ryzen 5 2500X.
