In short: My YT-earnings pretty much vanished completely so I can no longer afford making videos every two weeks. I'm sorry but new uploads will be less frequent in the future. There will still be videos but only when I can find enough free time to produce them.

And here's some more of my thoughts in case any of you is interested: I know it's not entirely true to say that this happened just because of the YT-algorithm change. I was told that many advertisiers no longer support YouTube and as a consequence, ad-revenue dropped for everyone. I'm also aware that I'm no longer the only person who produces content like this. When I started out, I was the first (and for a long time only) person who had the idea of letting two NPC's from pokémon fight each other which lead to my channel being pretty sucessful. But now there's a dozen of other channels who do the same thing, and many of them do an even better job than me since there's probably multiple people who work on their videos, resulting in their videos being more polished. I also think that not being able to record Gen 6 and Gen 7-battles is really hurting my channel. As a channel one really has to move with the time in order to stay relevant, and that's just something I can't do atm.
And, well, I think that the combination of all those reasons is essentially what's ruining what I built. It seems my time in the spotlight here on YT, however small it has been in the past, is now over. And even though that sucks a lot, I also know that there's still a handfull of people left who actually still enjoy watching my videos and that's the reason why I'm going to continue making videos in the future.
