Our journey in the Orre Region with Wes and Rui (aka Weblomi and 8675309) in Pokemon Colosseum on the Nintendo GameCube continues! We continue to explore The Under in today's video, and potentially conclude our search here. Now that we've defeated Venus and taken her Shadow Suicune away, she's tried to escape! We need to catch her and get some answers, and free The Under from the grip of these unlawful Shadow Pokemon. Are we gonna be able to stop her?!
This is, in my opinion, one of the best Pokemon RPGs that Nintendo have ever brought out, and it's not even a mainline game! Double battles, Johto Pokemon, the ability to steal (or snag) Pokemon, and a story that leans much more into traditional JRPG themes and audiences made Pokemon Colosseum a certified GCN classic, and one that will never be forgotten. Hopefully the Nintendo Switch will be able to provide some kind of remake, remaster or even a sequel to this game and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness... one can hope, hey!
In this video, we'll be fighting against more trainers in The Under, with most of them equipped with Shadow Pokemon that are seemingly impossible to catch. I've caught all the Pokemon so far but this episode is the first that we actually fail catching a Shadow Pokemon. Whilst I never planned on catching all of the Shadow Pokemon in this game, it's still a little annoying! In any case, once that's done, we're going to chase down Venus who, for some reason, leads us to a subway connected to... the Shadow Pokemon Lab?! These Pokemon designed to have their heart sealed and attack humans... we need to eradicate this horror as soon as possible. We know how to purify them, so The Under is our next stop. Let's see how today's episode goes!
