Impossible Spellcard 90 FPS No Item Captures
So, while hanging out in a Touhou Replay Community VC, I suggested people try high FPS low difficulty as a break from other difficult goals, with the caveat that it shouldn't be taken seriously. After a couple hours of others playing, I booted up ISC and started playing at 90 FPS (1.5x speed), intending to use some items to clear 75/75 that day. Since no item clears are the most efficient way to level up items, I started with those, and then just... didn't stop, clearing about 30 that day.
And oops, I got all the way to 62/75 over the following weeks. Here are the scenes I didn't do, sorted from most plausible to most impossible:
6-5: Definitely winnable with surviving 4 or 5 bites+laser bursts, but I hated grinding this one at 60 FPS, so no.
4-3: I survived 2/4 waves once. Killing in 4 waves is really hard though and most attempts would go 0/4, so I left it behind.
7-4: Lasers are unreactable but it's short so could be fluked.
9-1: Too fast, probably doable with some good muscle memory. Annoying to play though.
10-3: This one is definitely possible, I'm ranking it less likely for me than the ones above due to the sheer difficulty and length of the pattern. It's completely fair, though, and I may revisit this one later.
10-5: This scene is bad and every wave would be gambling.
8-7: The main knife pattern is too fast for me, I struggled a bit to clear this even with doll main item.
10-6: I hate this one normally. Probably manageable with a good route, but the one I used for regular no item requires too much star dodging to be comfortable at this speed.
10-2: Lasers are completely unreactable (0.22 seconds from forecast to active hitbox). This could be done with a "let's go gambling" mindset, though the non-laser part of the pattern is very fast and hard too, and 6 full cycles in a row is a daunting ask.
8-6: Way too hard.
10-7: Pure luck and too long.
5-2: Too fast and dense.
10-4: Way too fast, too precise, also can't win the damage race to avoid a second spin. This one was a very tough clear for me even with jizo+doll. No, seriously.
