Impressive Attention to Detail! (+ Updated Resistance Camp Dialogue) - NieR: Automata
1418 minutes of this!? Well, the last 5+ minutes is an awesome in-game outro OST, so it's not that bad. Anyway, even though on one hand I'm surprised in general, I was actually more than half expecting this game to put that kind of attention to detail into its continuity and not just be like "Well the wall's programmed to be smashed by this point even though it's possible to not have it smashed.", so I'm really glad that this game made it so my choice had an actual lasting effect on the world, even if it was a small one.
This game's made sure to be pretty consistent with its details to where I would've been let down if the wall had ended up being smashed anyway, so good on you Yoko Taro and P* Games! I expected nothing less from the man behind NieR and the gaming company that also loved the first NieR to the point of staying as faithful as possible to how the first one presented itself.
Also, already you can see stories unfolding with a few of the Resistance Camp members. Some are opening up to us, some are delving deeper into their vices which plague them later in Route C. I genuinely forgot to talk to 2 of them, while the others had the same dialogue, so I cut it out.
