In this video, rather than just doing my usual commentary on my Ketsui 1-all, I decided to talk about the topic of shmup mental game and how players can improve their mental game. I'm not an expert top-tier player, but I do think I have fairly strong mental game for the genre and I wanted to pass on these lessons that I was forced to learn during my long grind getting the Dodonpachi 2-all. I think learning a strong mental game is just as important as the in-game mechanics, which makes this genre really cool and interesting. Shout out to KZ for suggesting the topic!
