In this video, I go over improving WINE performance in games. When I noticed substantial frame drops, I used the following to drastically increase my performance.

-Disable Overlays (Origin In-Game, Steam, etc.)
-Solid State Drives (If you see stuttering, stopping)
-Use Game Capture in OBS instead of Screen Capture
-Disable V-Sync
-What out for advanced lighting features like God-Rays
-Try out different Wine Version (Be prepared for crashes or non-starts when doing this)
*USE CAUTION WHEN TRYING DIFFERENT WINE VERSIONS*
