Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is a 3rd person, open world, RPG. It has a "Dark Souls" vibe to it, both visually, and with the combat, though it is much more simplified, as you start with a quick attack, a heavy attack, and a block with a shield, though more melee options unlock as you lvl up.

You can also give your companions, called "pawns", general orders with the directional pad. I look forward to playing and learning more about this one.
