7Unlocking the idea that Magic The Gathering cards can be cheap. Magic is a growing game, growing into millions of players and selling millions of product. It is hard to simplify the numbers. Trying to print to demand is rough, trying to print limited product is hard. Who do you satisfy? The collector or the player? The collector will boast the value of the game and the player will boast the fun of the game. the challenges persist in the profitability of the game. While satisfying the entire collector and player base as a whole. Now as struggles emerge with product pricing increasing and what the common MTG player/collector is willing to pay. In this whole delema It is ok for cards to be cheap on the secondary market. I believe Wizards of the coast is trying to find the sweet spot of offering collectable cards and have cheap regular cards. So as they figure that issue out, take advantage of the cheap cards on the market, if you can afford to buy them, get them. especially as a player base. But be wise, before think all cards are cheap, a good way to understand the value of a card is to know how good a cardis in multiple formats especially between commander, standard and modern.
