In The Tub With | [Early Access] Usurper Gameplay and First Impressions
It’s my Usurper gameplay and first impressions video. Hey, watch my Usurper gameplay and first impressions video.
Thanks for checking in to this Usurper gameplay and first impressions video. Usurper is a metroidvania action RPG where gameplay takes place in the caverns underneath London in which slay creatures in variety of disgusting forms for the Usurper gameplay. In the Usurper gameplay, the gameplay requires thought and patience, so if you are debating on whether the Usurper gameplay sounds like a game for you, please consider watching my video of the Usurper gameplay.
'In the Tub With' is a work in progress series in which I'll take a one off look at a game and it’s gameplay. I'll attempt to show off gameplay, the mechanics and provide some of my first impressions. It is in no way intended as a review but rather as a source of commentated gameplay footage for anyone contemplating spending money but would like to see it in action first. Usurper is the latest game to fall victim to my ‘In The Tub With’ treatment so please try and stick with me as I find my feet in this loose critique of Usurper and the Usurper gameplay.
Developed and published by Pugware, the Usurper gameplay is entertainingly tough. Usurper also has great presentation with good level design so you may want to check out Usurper as the Usurper gameplay proves to feel very competent. The Usurper gameplay evokes feelings of Castlevania with it’s setting alongside tough combat within the Usurper gameplay.
Taken directly from its Steam store page, here’s a line or two about Usurper and it’s gameplay:
Usurper is a Metroidvania Action-RPG. With Eldritch horrors having been unleashed by the outer-worldly Citadel, your job is to rid London of its terrors. Use the new "Guard" system that rewards skillful play and accuracy, to uncover the massive structure and defeat the nightmares lurking within.
Released onto Steam on 3rd November 2017 the Usurper gameplay is pretty fun and my first impressions are good, although the Usurper gameplay is missing a number of features due to it's Early Access nature. The Usurper gameplay has a learning curve I’m willing to tackle as it works and there’s many gameplay elements to explore such as different enemies and weapons, which once utilised, will likely make the Usurper gameplay experience easier. The style of Usurper is impressive and it fits the gameplay suitably. In my first impressions and gameplay of Usurper I think it’s easy to see the game has a certain degree of charm.
Usurper is currently released on Steam and priced at £6.99. In my opinion, maybe wait until more features such as NPC's are added for it to be worth the price tag and I hope there is a fair amount of game here to dig into. I can honestly say, the Usurper gameplay is an enjoyable experience that has kept me engaged and wanting to improve. From the Usurper gameplay video, you can see I’m only 40 or so minutes into the Usurper gameplay so there is probably a lot more Usurper gameplay elements to discover so consider this if purchasing Usurper and you can get an idea of what’s in store by checking out this Usurper gameplay and first impressions video.
