This is a fantastic way to split an audio signal so that 2 pairs of headphones or earbuds can listen to the same sound source. What I use this for is to plug this splitter into my PS4 controller and then my son and I can both wear headsets or earbuds to listen to the same game without having to fill the room with sound. This can work with also splitting a tablet or mobile phone audio so that two people can share watching a movie on a tablet screen, or listening to songs on a mobile phone and listen to the same thing at the same time. Ideal if you are on a plane sitting next to your friend, partner and want 2 people to listen to the same tablet movie with earbuds or headsets without disturbing other passengers.
