Blasting Agent by SeiferTim on Kongregate -
A neat little 2D platformer where you pick up permanent upgrades for your gun as you go along. Some people would call this a Metroidvania game at first glance, but it’s really more of a challenge platformer with some shooting. You go through a level, gather as many gold bricks as you can and kill whatever enemies you want. The music is nice, and it’s got an interesting air about it.

Endless Legend by Amplitude Studios-
A 4X strategy game with a new flavor. Various races that each play differently, diplomacy, and great music. The mechanics are a bit convoluted and there’s a lot of reading to do, but it’s super easy to get sucked into a game.
The combat could use some work- after three or so games I still don’t really understand how it works, but it’s great fun.
At $35 right now on Steam, I’d wait for it to go down a bit in price, but it’s definitely worth looking at if you’re into 4X games.

Fibrillation by Egor RezenovF
An atmospheric horror exploration game where the story unravels itself through implication and symbolism, this one’s awesome! It’s one of those games where I don’t want to show you too much, because it’s best experienced blind, but trust me- if you’re into the weird and eerie, this is worth a look! It’s FREE on Desura for now (normally 2$).
