I was super sick for this voice over but I still felt compelled to get it out. Just as I was finishing this, Unity has walked this back for old versions of the engine, and the new price structure will only apply to future versions of the Engine. Still really gross and the damage has been done. I fully expect most Devs to move on from Unity completely once their current projects are done.
