Indie Game Devlog #9 - Adding Currency to the Game!
8In indie devlog #9 we will be covering the newest addition to the game, the currency system. We are starting off by rewarding players with gold for kills, along with adding gold coin pickups on both of our maps. This currency system will open up the future for more leaderboards, a cosmetic shop, and the ability to purchase all sorts of goods.
Along with our new gold currency we have plenty of cosmetic and aesthetic updates and polishes to both maps, including an entirely reworked UI. There are new corpse explosions, cleared zipline pathways, and new map music. The tutorial has been updated with all of the new game updates so you can jump right into playing below:
