How to safely edit industrial without messing up the game files.. Simply put this folder in your user folder or dont use this one, and just save level in the world editor. The game will now put only the changes you made to industrial user folder. Remove to revert back.
Just open the zip and copy the industrial folder to your clipboard and paste in the user folder.

If they aready a folder in there that contains any changes you already did to the map. Just move that one somewhere else and replace with this one.
