Inside Outing by The Edge is a game published on the ZX Spectrum in 1988 (and other platforms such as C64, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST and Amiga). You play George "Raffles" Hamilton, a renowned cat burglar who has unwittingly been caught up in a dastardly plot to steal a selection of prized feline specimens from a stately home. Aside from cats, there are giant rats and birds than enjoy biting at your kneecaps and ankles. It's no wonder your character hobbles about like a cripple. The 3D engine is fairly impressive as are the physics which although rudimentary, were still good for the time.

I reviewed this in September 2023 and for whatever reason this one didn't quite hit the right notes for me. It scored 82% in Crash magazine and 9/10 in Your Sinclair. Quite frankly no-one cares how it scored in Sinclair User.
