0There's a sort of weightless, ADHD quality to everything in the game. Builds work pretty well but the game basically won't challenge you except a handful of boss fights that pretty much have one-shot kill moves. I don't think Torchlight needs to be hardcore, but the game manages to feel so effortless that any meaning you want to ascribe to your decisions is removed.
