"Infinite" Mike Ability in Kirby's Adventure - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
In Kirby's Adventure for the NES, there's a way to keep the Mike power for 255 more uses than intended.
Normally the Mike ability last for three charges total. However, if you position Kirby in such a way that the Star Rod piece appears right on top of Kirby as you defeat the Level 2 boss with your last Mike charge, the game will get a little bit confused, and you will be able to use the Mike ability for 255 more uses.
When using Mike beyond the normal three uses, you'll experience some weird graphical effects, and the charge counter will display some abnormal numbers, but it doesn't seem harmful to your NES or cartridge as far as I can tell.
This trick may be possible on other bosses as well, technically, but I haven't tested it. The reason this trick is performed on the Level 2 boss is because you can gain the Mike ability during that fight. In theory, there's no real way to defeat any other boss with the Mike ability, unless there's something I'm missing.
Special thanks to Cham the Man for bringing this one to my attention!

What are some other weird tricks in old games you know about? I want to make more of these quick shorts, so leave a comment to suggest more glitches, Easter Eggs, and weird things!
