Infinite Time and Glitched 1-Ups (Super Mario World, SNES) - A Wild Glitch Appears!
3,150If you use a Yoshi to swallow a Powerup just as your timer reaches 0, Mario (or Luigi) will die for just a moment, then he will be revived when Yoshi collects the Powerup. This will allow you to continue the stage even though the timer has run out.
Using this glitch, you can freely bounce on the Wigglers in Forest of Illusion 1. If you have a cape, you can use your floating ability to bounce infinitely on the Wiggler enemies, which will give you plenty of extra lives.
Eventually, though, bouncing on the Wigglers will give you coins and a weird amount of points - and the values displayed on screen will have crazy glitched out graphics.
