11Portal name too long? Wrong portal location? Follow this step to edit portal location in Ingress.
Editing Existing Portals:
To edit an existing portal, tap the portal to bring up its information card, then tap the photo of the portal. From there you can suggest a new photo for the portal, or edit its title, description, or location.
Editing a portal’s title, description or location
1. Tap the “Edit” button.
2. Select the property you want to edit.
3. Provide an updated name, description or location.
4. Tap “Send.”
5. Wait for an email from Niantic.
Reporting Invalid Portals
1. Read the candidate portal criteria to confirm that the portal in question does not meet Niantic’s guidelines.
2. Tap the portal to bring up its detail view.
3. Tap the photo of the portal.
4. Tap the “Edit” button.
5. Tap “Report Invalid Portal.”
6. Select the radio button that best describes the reason why the portal is invalid.
7. Tap “Send.”
