Gameplay Changes
1. Fixed Area attacks not respecting boss invulnerable state.
2. Probable fix for the portal not spawning at the end of books.

Gameplay Changes
MEGA CHANGE
We've changed run structure. In runs you now start by picking a Villain - right now only Cynder is available but more will exist in the future. After that you pick what Book to go to from a random set of three Books picked from all available Books (there are currently 5 total Books, we plan to make more).
At the end of each book is a Miniboss. After defeating them, in the first two books you go back to the Sea of Ink briefly to choose your next Book. Again from 3 choices.
Each book should get harder over the course of the run based on the order you visit them in. So the second book should be harder than the first, etc. This is going to require a lot of new tuning, I'm sure balance is wild right now.
Finally, if you survive and complete three books, you face the Villain you chose at the start.
Cynder has been totally revamped and is now a 3-phase boss fight with a lot more mechanics.
Please check all of this out and let us know what you think.
Known issues:
1. The carver will not currently correct scale up the offers available as you progress, will be fixed soon.
... I'm sure some of you have already found other new issues ...
Other gameplay changes:
1. All battle choices now offer a choice between 'normal and hard'.
2. Some enemies, like inklings, will show up in all books, but don't scale up in challenge as you face them. Other enemies are book specific, and will scale up with difficulty.
3. Changed Inkstains and Ranged Inklings to use direct attacks on their turn again.
4. Phasing now procs at start of turn instead of end of turn.
5. Added longer main-style quests for MM + MC unlocks.
Art & UI Changes
1. Adjusted card title to not wrap.
2. Centered descriptions on cards.
3. Fixed party area display issues.
4. Made many updates to Vengewood environment art.
Audio Changes
1. New music in Silent Promenade Book.
2. New music in Vengewood Book.
Engine Changes & Other Bug Fixes
1. Fixed bug where enemies would flash for one frame before fading in at the start of combat.
2. Fixed issue where if you were Steam friends with someone, and they were set to invisible mode, but you were both playing Inkbound and in the same Atheneum that you couldn't invite each other to a party with the UI.

Gameplay Changes
1. Added new Shield Wall Legendary 'Forcefield': Consume all Will. Gain 3 shield for each will consumed.
2. Updated Shield Wall legendary 'Spiked Wall': 'Gain 5 Shield. Gain 40 stacks of Spiked. (Spiked: Deal 1 damage per stack to the attacker. Deal 1 damage per stack to the attacker. Removes stacks equal to the damage taken.) from 'Gain 5 shield. When an enemy hits you while your shield is up, you deal 30 damage.'
3. Ability Upgrade Drafts now use magic find stat.
4. Fixed Stitch being able to damage unthreaded units.
5. Fixed Thread having 0 damage after the first turn in combat.
6. Fixed Astrakinesis triggering Psychokinesis passive.
Art & UI Changes
1. Fixed tooltips for boss progress screen.
2. Removed overhead UI displays from bosses.
3. Made numerous updates to Vengewood environment chunks.
Engine Changes & Other Bug Fixes
1. Dynamic damage calculations are now more accurate, for example Heat is factored in for damage in Magma Miner ability tooltips.
