I take a look at inquisitor by Cinemax, a hardcore dungeons and dragons game for the PC which follows a traditional combat system combined with lots of loot, story and exploration in an RPG setting.
I take control of a Paladin, and this video shows a lot of the games first town and questing area, where I am tasked by the chance to investigate demons, ghosts and other supernatural goings on and also find out who is a heretic. inquisitor is not light on text, you'll feel you've read a book by the time you're out of the starting area.
THe game also allows you to control a priest or a thief, and just like the Paladin, inquisitor allows you to customize the character somewhat with a model, and choose their starting attributes and spells. Loot is dropped diablo style, with the ability to loot a simple click of a mouse button.
It's clear that there's somewhat afoot in the starting town, and it's hard to know who is out for themselves and which of them is conspiring with the ogres, demons and giant bats. inquisitor is a hard core game that will be sure to please a lot of fans.
